If it shows 30% on the display then it is low! The hv battery is what controlls the starter(mg1 mg2 ) The battery in the trunk does little more then control the main functions like keep alive features/radio/interior lights exterior lights/etc!

When the hv battery hits a low spot, Then the hv computer will shut off all! It was driven too long on only battery voltage.Or you may have a hv computer failture (saying voltage is good but not/or is good and not alowing the system to function)Call your Toyota dealership with vin# XXXXX the hv ecu# XXXXX were a few still not handled!
