I know this the MKIII forum, but I am not having any luck in the MKIV. Maybe someone here will be able to help me. On a 2000 VW Jetta, 4cyl 2.0, w/ about 110,000 miles.
The check engine light came on and I pulled
P0171 and
P0332.
The first one deals with the fuel trim system and the next one deals with the #2 knock sensor signal being low.
I reset the codes and they came back the next day. Are these 2 codes related to eachother? Where would be the best place to start in getting this problem fixed?

check engine light is telling me "p0332 Crankshaft/engine speed(RPM) sensor- no signal"
The check engine light is on intermittently on my 2001 VW jetta GL, and I used a CodeKey reader to see that the code the engine is sending is "p0332 Crankshaft/engine speed(RPM) sensor- no signal". Anyone have an idea of what this involves to be repaired? thanks

try clearing out the codes and drove the car and check engine light came back on in less then a mile.
