W203 C32 Secondary Air Pump - Known Problem ?
I am on my third secondary air pump in 12 months.
Is this a known problem on the W203 ?
Is it unique to W203 C32.
It's clear I'm not getting to the root cause of the problem.

Also what does the secondary air pump do ?
Can anyone direct me to any good threads on it.

I am guessing if it's just the relay the pump itself should be OK as it's only a few months old.
I'm trying to find a decent Indie who can sorth these niggles out for me, but struggling, so if not I will have to save up and pay a visit to the dealer

I was told it was something that they fitted for colder climate countries (we certainly qualify for that lately).
Will it be damaging the vehicle running without this working ?
