始動に十分な点火系全体の確認も必要が、スパークが一部にあるという点は
留意しておきたい。
燃料系統の点検をするというので、その結果をまちたい。
燃料系に間違いはないようだ。Y社の優秀な一部メカには感謝していたようだが、応対に
問題のあるフロントには？を感じたようだ。お客様にそのような雰囲気をさとられるとは
情けない。
データからある程度切り分けができたようなので、そのデータも検証できるとよいのだが。
図は現車とは少し違いもあるようで、配線の接続部に注意したい。

でシリンダー＃＊のスムーズ作動
」という項目が目にとまり少し観察してみた。
.00を中心に各気筒別に表示されているが、（-0.91~-0.45~0.00~0.45~0.91~1.36）
などと変動していた。1/s^2の表示。

ほぼ安定していた。若干の条件の違いはあるが参考にしておきたい。

Can't find 2001 C240 Throttle Position Sensor/Pedal Travel Sensor online
I think I have determined that my TPS needs replacement. I want to buy one online then have a Bring Your Parts place put it in.

However, my problem is that I can't find the Throttle Position Sensor for sale anywhere for my 2001 C240. It is bizarre. On every website I look at, they sell lot of these, but not for my car. I have seen it called Pedal Travel Sensor as well, but it's also not for sale for my car.
Would one for an M class work for my car? Or can someone point me in the right direction?

You need to use the MB EPC. Electronic Parts Catalog. Used by dealerships, available to the public. I use it everyday.

My 2002 c240 stalls when going up mountain road or if it is really hot outside with a/c on....when your car stall check how the coolant temp by using multifunction switch on steering

when your car stall check how the coolant temp by using multifunction switch on steering wheel you can see on instrument cluster display rang should be between 80 dig to 95dig if it's withing the range check crank angle sensor, normally crank angle sensor play when it's too hot if it's play need to be replace it's bit hard to do in 112 engine in c class.

Hi, I have a mercedes C240 2001 and just lately the idle speed has dropped to about 600rpm and the car feels like it wants to stall. Any ideas ?

Yes,check the fuel pressure & filter. There's about a million other things to cause this,so start simple. Ask again if this doesn't help.

My 2002 C240 will not crank
I have a C240 and I have had it towed to the mechanic 5 times for this same problem. They can not find any problems. They replaced the fuel pump relay and that did not solve the problem. Computer has been replaced, still not cranking.

Ｈ１６型Ｃクラスを再始動しようとしたら、途中までセルが回りましたが、エンジンが掛からない状況になりました。ディーラーが盆休みだったので今日からやっと修理開始になりましたが、結局燃料ポンプの故障で、修理に20万円掛かると言われました。フィルター詰まり、タイヤの編磨耗でこれも要交換との事でしたが、実は昨年車検を受けたばかりで、これらの部品は交換したばかりです。ここぞとばかりにむしりとる○ナセに恐怖を覚えました。

C240がエンジン不調で入庫してきた。
街中走行中に突然エンジンが停止したそうだ。
走行㌔は１１２０００ｋｍ。
ノーメンテナンスっぽいコンディション。
C240は４気筒でダイレクトイグニッションが２個ついており、それを分配しているシステム。
この一つがダメなのでエンジンが止まってしまったのだ。

C240 V6 .2002. FUEL GAUGE VALVE / FUEL SENSOR
I've MERCEDES C240. 2002. W203
My FUEL GAUGE VALVE is down & it doesnt move at all. It just sits under empty (not blinking when i start engine) and when you check the screen in the cluster it says the range is ---. pls if anyone can advice me how to solve this problem...

Assuming you have not done any work on the instrument cluster, the rear SAM or the fuel sender, it sounds like one of those parts has gone bad.

If you have done any work on those parts, then you may have replaced one with a newer version that uses updated wiring, in which case you will need to replace the other two parts with updated versions as well. You might try pulling the fuel sender fuse with the ignition in position 2 (but the engine NOT running) to see if it will reset it, but that's a long shot.

Take the back seat bottom out and look closely at the passenger's side fuel pump/fuel level sensor and at the driver's side fuel level sensor/sending units. Make sure that the small triangle that is stamped into the top of each of those units is pointing exactly to the marks on the frame area.

If either of these units in not properly aligned, the float can get stuck which would give a false tank reading. If you aren't lucky enough for this to be the cause, then as the previous poster said, it is most likely a faulty level sensor. The problem is it could be either one of the units.

You could unplug the electrical connection of the driver's side sending unit and see if the gauge changes. I sort of remember that there is a pressure sensor in the driver's side unit as well but it is a smaller connector that I recall and you shouldn't have to remove that (although that's from memory).

BE VERY CAREFUL in your troubleshooting of these units as there is gas and gas vapor involved in that area! Do not drop tools or anything that would give a spark if you remove either side!

A special tool is needed to remove the ring that hold each unit down. You can make one out of a short piece 2x6 planed down and notched in the middle. I think the tabs need to be 1" to fit in between the ring spokes that I remember. Then you can just take a large Crescent wrench on the wood and unscrew the ring.

Hi i was wondering if you can help me with a problem on a 2001 C200 Kompressor.
I changed the fuel pump because sometimes it worked and sometimes not with a new one that has the same number part but the fuel gauge and the pump doesnt work

but with the new one the problem was still there so i checked the fuse box and i found that a terminal of the fuse box was burned by a short cut so the terminal sometimes make contact and that was the problem now the pump works but the fuel gauge not and i dont know if a have to change the sam

because the scantool gives me two codes B1044- Under voltage <10.4 and B1085 B4 component fuel indicator fault. I read here that theres a way to reset it or a way to know if i must change the rear sam and the fuel sensor or just one

これより古いタイプでは、＋、－をナットで端子を固定していた、

の規格品らしきシンプルなものが使われているようだ。
これの取り付け位置は燃料ポンプのトランク空間にありそうだ。
トランクにはSAMなども年式車種からあるようにジャンクションとか
いくもの装置があるので識別情報が必要だ。
このリレーを見つけておくと、リフト／ジャッキアップしなくても切り分けのポイントとして便利だろう。

今回の症状は以前からその兆候はあったようで、
其のつどなんとかつかえていたようです。
ついに、今回始動できなくなり、入庫したようです。
始動すると問題な使えていたとのこと。これは、燃料系の点検でポンプが作動し、そのエンジンの作動状態が物語っているようだ。
