Error Code P0344 Help I have a '01 325i that was stalling when at low RPM's, leaving a stop sign, go around a corner, etc.. The engine light would go on and then it ran very sluggish. When the engine would go off on its own it would run great for awhile till it would go back on again. I ended up getting an error code, P0344, Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Intermittent (Bank 1 or single sensor).
Suggestions: Go to Autozone and borrow their OBD-II code reader; read the codes and get their pricing for the part. Compare their pricing to that of the online sources (autohausaz.com, pellicanparts.com, bavauto.com) for the sensor to keep 'em honest.
For a DIY, try searching under that OBD code here or via Google with the additional code words of "E46," or "BMW." (Note that the 330i and 325i are almost the same engine; ditto when installed in a 5 Series.) There is no way you're the first with this problem . . .
I am sure it is the intake. My Camshaft Sensor Exhaust Code was something different. I believe it was P1397. But then again, we have different models. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Can anyone please help me on how to fix this and/or what to replace. Pictures would be good if you have them also.
Thank you much.

I had a similar code (P0365) which was for the exhaust camshaft position sensor; did it myself in just a few minutes on my 2002 330i.
I'd presume the other sensor isn't that hard either but am not sure.
