Code 54-1 Fail safe relay failure. Where is the relay

Code 54-1 Fail safe relay failure. Where is the relay located?

and then we get this 54 one code, fail safe relay failure.
This relay is located inside the abs module, so before you replace
the abs module you will need to check all your good power
and ground supply to your abs module. The very most common thing on
these is the battery terminal. There is a little battery piece that gets corroded
or bad connection, it will trigger this light. This car actually has this
abs and vtm four light and brake light come all at once
as soon as you hit the bump or anything like that. I will show you where to first check it before you replace an abs module. Let me shut it off.

(car beeping) And as you can see this is the battery terminal.
Of course, you will have to make sure it’s tight. And the problem is this
terminal, this little piece, this terminal is really loose. So as soon as you hit the
curb or a bump, sorry, as soon as you hit the bump, it will just make it a loose connection. That will not give a good power supply to the abs pump.
It will trigger that fail safe code and, more likely people do replace those,
but the problem is, check your terminals first. So let me just tie it up.
I’ll clean it later, just to show it to you. So I tied it up. (car engine starting)
And as soon as you start the car all the lights go off. So before you replace the abs module, cause that code will give you a internal fail safe relay,

which is inside the abs module, check the power supply. Another thing, there’s a fuse that goes to the abs pump. A lot of times if you replace the, I believe it’s like 30 amp fuse with a 10 amp fuse, that will also trigger the abs fail safe code.
Check those first before you replace the pump, so. If you have this code, fail
safe, check these first. Otherwise, thanks for watching.
