SK:の前TESTで警告灯が点灯、ABS:系はSPD:の入力で消えた。ENG-MILが残ってしまい、
点灯したままという一件で、WAS扱いのTOOLで消灯できたと情報があった。
この残った、詳細の経緯は不明なので、ある種のスレッドがあったのか注目です。
似たケースがあれば紹介ください。
この車種はDLCの配置が年式で違うようなので、T/Bのリンクなど参照ください。
そもそも、VWをはじめとする欧州系では一見で見つけにくい部位にあったりする。
その意図は、他のケースも含め不可解と感じるものも多い。
表題のケースではDTCなどは紹介されてないので、各位の体験からのDTCにも期待したい。

Now, ￡2.50 is a lot for a little fuse, but believe me I’m not complaining!
A test drive and within about 10 yards the ABS has reset and the light goes out – YEE- *!$%*!- HHAAAA! To say I’m pleased is certainly an understatement!

My car is giving intermittent abs light. I have done a scan as follows:
Address 03: ABS Brakes Labels: 6Q0-907-37x-ABS.LBL
Controller: 6Q0 907 379 L
Component: ABS FRONT MK60 0101
Coding: 0001097
Shop #: WSC 00788
VCID: 46FFD51B71A9
1 Fault Found:
01276 - ABS Hydraulic Pump (V64)
012 - Electrical Fault in Circuit - Intermittent
If anybody has experience of this fault please let me know.

After doing some research I found that a 40A fuse is cracked. It is located in the battery cover.

The ABS warning lamp on my partner's 2002 1.2 Polo recently lit and the fault code suggested a faulty ABS Module or wiring fault.

A quick search of this forum led me to this string and a diagnosis of a cracked strip fuse as being the root of the problem!

I bought a new fuse (soldering is OK for a quick fix but for the sake of ￡2.50…)
Also took some pics to help anyone else in the same situation. On the Polo there is a battery cover:
Open it up and nothing unusual:
But then there is another part inside the cover:
Which contains….
The strip fuses. And if we zoom in:
You can see the cracked right hand one which supplies the ABS pump.

金属疲労

今時こんなヒューズを使うかなぁ。。
温度による膨張の逃げがないので金属疲労も起きて当然である。
隣にあった同じ40Aのヒューズも中央部が湾曲していた。
ちなみにこのヒューズはバッテリの上のカバーの中にあるが、
2重のカバーなので見つけにくいかもしれない。
検索すると同じような事例があった。（年式・型式は違うかも）

I am not sure if there has been any variation over the model years, but the fuses for my 2002 V5 are as follows:
Starting from the right (while facing the radiator) and working to the left:
Fuse 1 green blade fuse 30A (ABS)
Fuse 2 green blade fuse 30A (ABS)
Fuse 3 green blade fuse 30A (cooling fan no1)
Fuse 4 flat metal fuse 50A (coolant heaters ??)

The descriptions are from Autodata. I thought that fuse no 4 served both fans.
