DTC P1021 Sets After Oil
Change: ’03 Civic Hybrid
On ’03 Civic Hybrids, a DTC P1021 [valve pause
system (VPS) stuck on] can set the first time you
start the engine after an oil and filter change. What
causes this is the engine oil pressure sensor
detecting low oil pressure to the valve train.

This
isn’t a sign of a problem, just an annoyance. Once
you clear the DTC, it won’t come back because
the oil filter is full again. To keep this from
happening, fill the new oil filter with clean engine
oil before you install it.

VTECコントロールバルブを外し、エンジン側に網ストレーナーが
付いてます。それが詰まっているに一票！
シビックに付いてるか不明、CRVはこれがチェックランプの原因でした。

おととい、オイル交換をしたK6A、高速道路でストップ、ブロックから
コンロッドが見えてます。なんでこうなるか知っている方は教えて下さい。（大涙）

ziziさん じつは この車 車検での入庫 OILがそこそこ痛んでましたので
最初にOILコックとフイルターを外し放置 他を済ましてからだったので
かなり 抜けて居たんだと思います で タイムラグが大きかったかも知れません。
