Jeep grand cherokee stall problem

My jeep stalled at various times. While driving and making a turn, going down a hill etc. Other times it would not start at all. Had two different mechanics work on the jeep with no result. Replaced: crank & cam sensors, distributer cap rotor, wires , plugs, pcm, fuel pump, coil etc. Problem may be the " Clock spring in the steering wheel" The jeep is a high mileage jeep and seems to relate to many problems listed here on this site. I will not let it get the best of me. The problem is that the so called clock spring needs to maintain 5 volts and responds back to the PCM. If the contacts go bad, it will send out a short to the PCM where the PCM will not give a code. I have disconnected the air bag connection under the steering wheel and have not had a stall problem. This if it is the problem is easily repaired at the dealer. Note: The horn will not work when the plug is disconnected.

Crank Shaft Position Sensor...FIXED the Problem after already replacing the PCM and other parts!!!! He Has been driving over a month now, no problems.
when I had mine diagnostics done, two reading came up that I didn't understand.
1) faulty ignition module... Where/what is this ??? or PCM.
2) Poor elect.connection-circuit fault??? *** is this???
Later Shelton said he also had simular reading then replace the CSPS.

ok.so after replacing all that stuff and spending hundreds of dollars for it, they tell me it's my computer.Apparently,whoever owned it before me had a refurbished computer installed and it was not for a Jeep or any Chrysler.So I recently replaced it and it works beautifully.I'll stay on the site just to see how you all are doing and help in any way I can. Thanks.

that sucks.seriously.i don't know what to say to that.honestly i am horrible with cars and kind of stumbled onto this amazing mechanic thanks to a friend.just wanna say you gotta be cautious of auto shops and take everything with a grain of salt.if you can get it fixed i would probably trade it in or sell it immediately.but let me know how it goes.i had to replace my computer cuz the owner before me had a faulty refurbished computer in it and that caused all my systems to not communicate.

Up- Date... replaced and did not help
The part is located on the drivers side and under the fire wall, about at the 11 o'clock position and you have to reach for it, site unseen from the ground. The sensor slips into a tight hole and is connected by 2 screws... the 1 foot long wired connector wraps around and on top of the crank shaft and connects to a coupler on the passenger side in the engine compartment and above the oil filter.
back to the drawing boards. Getting code P0351 again.

Adding response just to keep this active ,as to help other jeep owners... Please do the same by keeping this active wen I leave!!!
had mechanic trace all components foe failure... Mine it appears to dying at the PCM... I have a (rebuilt) on order 3-14-08.

チェロキーはキー３回以上のＯＮ―ＯＦＦのあとＯＮ状態で止めると、
インストゥルメントパネル内のエンジンチェックが点灯を始めるとあった。
１２・１１・５５の順番でエンジンチェックランプが点灯した。
やはり、クラセン信号異常を拾っていた。
11 クランクシャフト・ポジションセンサーからＰＣＭ（コンピューター）への信号不適又は､信号無し

チェロキーにはエンジンが掛からなくなるケースってたまにありますよね！
私も色々と苦労を致しました・・・
２の場合は捕捉としてｲﾝﾋﾋﾞﾀｰｽｲｯﾁ（ﾆｭｰﾄﾗﾙｽｲｯﾁ）を一旦外して電極の接点を出してあげれば直ってしまう場合もあります！
ちなみに１、の場合はｸﾗﾝｸ角ｾﾝｻｰ又はｲｸﾞﾆｯｼｮﾝｺｲﾙやﾌﾟﾗｸﾞｺｰﾄﾞの場合が多いかと思われますよ！
