９２年式です。エアコンはまあ普通に効いていますが、昨年エアコン使用時に同様のエンストを経験しました。振動が大きくなってエンジンストール．．．。が、今年は大丈夫です。別になんにもいじってないんですけど。

ゴルフ３の頃のポロの乗っていますが、エンジンがストールしそうになったり、アイドリングが不安定になったりしました。まず最初の症状は、走行中にエアコンの効きが悪くなり水温系をみると温度が上昇していたので、すぐに車を止めてエンジンルームをみるとオーバーヒート寸前でした！ディーラーでみてもらったら、エンジンを冷やすためのファンのモーターが故障していました。エンジンを冷やす事が出来なくなってオーバーヒートしたんです！修理代モーター交換と冷却水補充で６万円！

第二弾 走行中にアクセルを踏み込んでも加速しなかったり、アクセル踏み込むとエンストしそうになったので、ディーラーでみてもらったら、o2センサーが切れていますとの事！コンピューターが排気ガスの量や質を計測するセンサーらしく、そこが故障しているとエンジンが不具合を起こすらしです！切れている箇所をつなげてもらって無料でかえりました。しかし、かえっている途中で同じ症状が出ました。車を預ける事になり後日診断結果が！車が走行するときに火花を出す場所があるのですが（デスビ）そこの軸がへたっていて正常な回転をしていないからアイドリングが不安定になり、加速時にはエンストしそうになるそ､です！その時点での走行距離５万キロ！そんなに早く壊れるものなのか？重要な部分じゃないのかその部品は 無償交換だろうと思ったが有料でした！３年保証すぎているから有料ですといわれてしまいました！修理代５万円！そして１ヶ月後窓が２枚落ちて修理代４万円！そのときの走行距離６万キロ！＆４年目！だめだこりゃ 金かかり過ぎ！

エンストの件ですが、暑い時に2時間くらい走って止まって、再発進の際に吹かすとゴボゴボっとストールする感じではないですか？
実は私も2回ほど経験しております。一概の同現象かは判断できませんが私の場合はＤラーでＥＣＵのコンピューターにて診断していただきましたが問題ないとのこと。結論から言いますと９２年９３年式の前期モデルにて結構な事例があって、どうやら燃料ホースが異常に暑くなって燃料のパーコレーションが発生し一時的に濃い燃料が発生しＡＦＣが誤動作を起こすようです。
対策としては、燃料ホースにサーモバンテ－ジなる断熱テープを巻くなどの処置となります、又正直な話、この現象についての対策済みのＥＣＵのＣＰ（コンピュータ）もあるらしいですよ。

私は今年の３月に９２年式のゴルフ３を購入し、初めての夏を迎えました。しかし・・・ｍｙゴルフのエアコン吹き出し口からも熱風とスポンジが吹き出します（＞ー＜）。。。その上、１時間ほど連続走行すると信号待ちなどで停車しているとアイドリングが不安定になり、再発進するとエンストしてしまいます。水温も１００度近くまで上がっており、今にもエンジンルームから煙が出てきそうです。。。 私には２歳の娘がおりますが、エアコンが効かないため車の中ではいつも汗だくです。

エンジンルーム内に設置したラジエータ冷却ファンを制御するコントロールユニットにおいて、エンジンルームが高温になった場合、ユニット内部も高温となり、ICチップ下部に充填している防湿剤が膨張してICチップを押し上げる場合があります。この状態が繰り返されると、最悪の場合、ICチップリード部のはんだに亀裂が生じ、導通不良からファンが回らなくなったり（この場合、エンジン水温が上昇します）、回り放しになったりする場合があります。
通常走行でのエンジンルーム内の温度は、ユニットに影響をおよぼすことはありませんが、外気温の高い状態で、日常的に頻繁にかつ長時間にわたってアイドリング運転や、低速運転（20km/h以下）を行った場合、走行風による冷却性が低下するため、エンジンルーム内の温度が上昇し、上記不具合が発生する場合があります。
このため、お客様満足度向上の観点から、下記の対象車両について保証期間を延長致します。

The blower motor resistor will not have current because it is on the ground side circuit of the blower motor.
You need to remove the blower motor relay and check for two powers going into the relay terminals with the key on and blower motor on high.
Please do that for me so we can continue.

Excellent! Thank you very much! If you insert the relay, do you hear it click if you were to turn on the heater? If so, do you have power leaving the ETACS ECU going to the blower motor?

have read else where to chk for click by having heater blower switch on high w/ key on
and w/ relay pulled out just touch to terminals and feel click. i never felt any click. my daughter said she took to dealer and they said relay was ok. i don't know what a etacs ecu is.

Sorry for the delay! I did some research for you and got some really good information.
This ETACS-ECU is a fuse/relay box with combined with a module (computer). This unit grounds the Blower motor relay to activate it and send power out the yellow wire to the blower motor. If you are sure that this unit is not grounding the blower motor relay, this is (and if all powers and grounds are good) this ETACS-ECU is bad and will need to be replaced.

However, it may be possible that there is a code in this ETACS-ECU preventing it from activating the relay. The only way to pull codes on this unit with a scanner. You could take it to a shop and have them scan this module for codes. Or, you could disconnect the battery for 10 minutes to clear the memory in this unit. This may just get the blower motor working temporarily.

If this does the trick, then chances are there was and possibly will be (again) a stored code in the unit causing this condition which in that case it will need to be addressed.
