INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Oil drainage of Oil Filter
(1) Remove bolt,insert Drain Pipe into threaded hole with force and drain oil.
Caution:Hot oil drained from pipe, please be careful!
(2)After the engine oil has drained, remove Drain Pipe by pushing to side.
2.Replacement of Fiter Element and Large O-ring
(1) Remove Cap with Special Service Tool (SST). Drain residual engine oil left (2)Remove Filter Element and O-ring Please be careful not to damage O-ring groove portion when removing O-ring. (3)Cleanly wipe off any contamination from inside the Oil Filter housing. Cleaning portions: Screw A, B, Flange C, D, O-ring groove portion E, F. (4)Apply clean engine oil all around O-ring, install into O-ring groove portion, make sure O-ring is in groove portion and correctly seated. Then install Filter Element. (5)Again, apply clean engine oil on outside periphery of O-ring, tighten Cap to torwue indicated on Cap top surface by SST.
3. Small O-ring and Bolt assembly (1)Clean O-ring groove portion. Then apply clean engine oil all around O-ring install into O-ring groove portion securely. (2)Tighten Bolt to 12.5+-2.5N-m (9.5+-2 lb-ft).
4.Oil leakage check After adding the engine oil, run engine for 3 minutes and chech for leaks.

締める時は先の規定値でAL製TOOLとトルク・レンチを使う

The new 2011 Myvi’s 1.3L 4-cylinder K3-VE engine has had it’s ECU remapped to provide improved consumption figures, has a power rating of 90bhp @ 6,000rpm and 117Nm of torque @ 4,400rpm as compared to 85bhp and 116Nm of torque on the older Myvi. Furthermore, we were able to achieve around 320km on a full tank of Ron95, and that was with a heavy foot.
